It looks like I won't be leaving the house much this weekend. We have about 8 inches of snow outside and it is still lightly falling. I am looking forward to keeping busy but enjoying the peace that snow brings.
This morning I was excited to make Kath's Classic Oatmeal. Stove-top oatmeal beats microwave oatmeal any day of the week.
I made his and her bowls.
Here's my To Do list for the weekend:
- Complete report cards
- Do No More Trouble Zones (maybe twice)
- Finish cleaning and vacuum
- Do some major cooking
Laundry- Go sledding
- Have a dance/cardio party for one or two (if Husband decides to join in)
- Organize clothes closet
Organize dresser- Finish my current book so I can read Salinger in honor of him
- Do some other school items that are complicated to explain
- Drink hot chocolate

That's a lot of snow! Sounds like you have a lot to do to stay busy. I definitely need to tackle our laundry, clean the house, and get in my runs. I may take some time to read a book for work and one for pleasure.
Have a great weekend!

We're finalizing things with a contractor for re-siding our house, going to the school talent show, having a friend spend the night with my girl, gong to Mass in the morning, running and relaxing with a good book! Jealous of the snow!
Oh boy, report cards- I have to start those in a couple of weeks, boo!
Sometimes I can incorporate a dance party/cleaning party into one with my boyfriend. lol Sounds like you have a very busy weekend!
I have to work this morning from 6-10 then I'm finally FREE! I haven't had a day off since last Monday. Bummer! So I plan on cleaning a little bit and relaxing. I'm ready for it!
How fun to get so much snow!
I hope you enjoyed your dance party :)
NOt to mention that microwaves are nasty. They destroy up to 90% of the food's nutrition, and they create free radicals, which can lead to cancer.
