It's A New Day!

I had a great day!  Life felt new.  I woke up
excited and ready for the day; "yay" for 8 hours of sleep.  I was excited to be with my class.  I had fun teaching.  I was also happy with my Eats today; I felt satisfied, content and not-deprived.  I enjoyed my meals.

My EATS:
  • Breakfast:  1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup water, 1 tspn brown sugar
  • Snack:  1/2 an apple, 1/2 Harvest Power bar
  • Lunch:  Greek salad sandwich on a pita with shrimp, clementine, Dove chocolate piece
  • Snack:  1/2 an apple, 1/2 Harvest Power bar
  • Dinner:  salad, fresh pineapple, home-made calzones
  • Dessert:  decaf-coffee

Calories consumed:  1765
Calories burned:  535
Net calories:   1230

Yep!  You read correctly!  I owned that treadmill today!  I did high incline, interval walking/running/sprinting for 6.5 miles!

Now most days are not this good.  Many days are "blah".  But I think it's so important to remember that each day is new!  I can make changes each and every day!  Each day is a new year and a new day!

Who's excited for The Biggest Loser?  I'll be making my predictions again this season, even though last season's prediction was WAY off.  Biggest Loser predictions are to me what March Madness and brackets are to the college basketball fan.

Picture Info:  I took this picture in January 2004 on the beach of Normandy in France.  I was studying WWII and was amazed that such a beautiful beach could hold such a terrible past.

I am seriously impressed that you had such a great day right after vacation. I am still getting into the swing of things I'll tell you that! Plus my yogurt was moldy at lunch, that really kept me from being satisfied today haha

Awesome job on the treadmill!
I just caught the beginning of BL. The show is way too long to hold my attention. They really drag it out.
