Thanksgiving's 30 Day Shred Challenge

Do you believe we are 6 weeks out from Thanksgiving and the beginning of the holiday season.?  Six weeks from tomorrow is Thanksgiving.  Crazy, I know.  And with Thanksgiving and the Christmas season  comes family commitments, parties, shopping, snack days/treats at school, etc.  Although I love Christmas, the music, the movies and the fun I also know it is a crazy distracting time.

So I decided to create a Challenge for myself.  I am going to complete the 30 Day Shred (again) I love the 30DS and how it so quickly changes my body.  I have 6 weeks (5 days/week) to complete it so I don't have to do it every day.  This plan works for me.  Following Thanksgiving and this Challenge I plan to continue with the Shred but vary the levels.

Most days during the week I'm going to get up early (5:15) and Shred before getting ready for work.  I did it this morning and felt great all day.  Like Julie, of Julie Golean wrote, it's all about preparing the night before and having a plan.

Tomorrow I'll share my newest Blogger award (so happy!).

I'm in. I am also going to shred 5 days a week. My husband will be joining me. I started the 30 day shred once before but I was also learning to run and it was just too hard to do together. I am taking a break from running so shredding now is good timing. Thanks for the idea!

Ooooo this is a good idea. I am kind of tempted to join, but I think I might wait until after Thanksgiving after my 5k challenge is finished. Good luck, you can do it!

I'm going to join you in that challenge! This was just the kick in the rear I needed to get back with the program! If you don't mind, I'm going to borrow that picture and put it over in the side bar of my blog! Good luck!

Sounds fun! How long is the video? I'm not sure if I can take on anything else while I train for the half-marathon.

Sounds like a good challenge! I realized that our Body for Life Challenge ends like a day after my office Christmas party. I am going to have to survive Thanksgiving on it though!

Who knows maybe it will keep me from going overboard this year.

each workout is 20 minutes--there are 3 different levels you can choose from

I'm with ya! I'm going to start working on distance running so having this to keep my strength training in the mix will be great.

Oh bless your heart. The Shred is torture! I just finished a Shred challenge at the end of September so I'm taking a break and plan to do it again between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Good luck!!

This sounds like a great plan! I've been taking classes at the gym, and plan to continue doing so, but doing this video first thing in the morning (on the mornings that I can't make it to the gym by 5am) is a great idea! At least I'll be doing something...

And like Tyler up there, I have yet to get to Level 3!

Wow! I am tempted....I need something to get my mind of house selling/hunting. Maybe it will make my energy level go up....i also felt great when I did it super early in the am.....plus it gave me time in the evenings for my family. I think it prob the only way Im going to be able to get it in.

We have commitments for the next few weeks so Im in as of Nov 1. Keep us posted on your progress!

That's so awesome.... I don't know, I might be in. I bought the shred a couple months ago and it has sat on my shelf untouched. Seriously. Not once. This sounds like a great reason to break it out of the wrapper. Is it really as great as they say?
