4 Weeks Until Turkey Day!

Two weeks ago I created the Thanksgiving 30 Day Shred Challenge.  Today I started Level 2 and it felt good!  If you have yet started the challenge or haven't been consistent, refocus today!  You still have 4 weeks to change your body and life before the rush of the holidays.  I would personally love to lose 4 pounds in the next 4 weeks.  I'd rather not start the holiday season with "baggage".

Tomorrow is going to be a TOUGH mental day for me!  It's "Snack Day" at my school.  Teachers and staff bring in lovely, yummy (unhealthy) items to share and enjoy.  It is located perfectly in the teacher workroom.  My goal tomorrow is NOT to go in the workroom.  This is more than just a little bit of temptation this is going to be a challenge in itself.  If I stay out and away from temptations, I will feel victorious.

Please give some tips for avoiding tempting food and situations!

Good luck tomorrow! I know it's hard to avoid it, but I know I always feel better when I resist the temptation.

Yay for the shred! I tried it before and didn't really like it. I can't do a push up to save my life. I wish I had liked it more. Everyone seems to really love it!

I avoid them like the plague. You could also take a healthy treat to indulge in so you don't feel deprived too.

Good for you! I've been doing some really pathetic eating lately and I'm trying to plan better so I have healthy snacks at school. We have free breakfast for the kids dropped off in the morning and there are usually leftovers. We've been keeping them in our little snack bin, but I've been very tempted lately and had second breakfast twice this week...which is ridiculous because I always have an huge bowl of oatmeal or cereal at home.

good luck tomorrow--we do homecooked meals/snacks EVERY OTHER wednesday at school!!! i am terrible on those days....i am sticking to level one on the shred for 10 days then moving to level 2 (i only did level 2 that one day) for 10 days then to level 3 for 10 days...idea from ash is fit! :-) i am finding that it is getting a tiny bit easier...i try to do it after i run so it is NOT easy by any means....again, be strong tomorrow!!

After my over indulgence last week with lunch at school, I have been avoiding everything brought to school like the plague. Seems our parents love us a little too much sometimes. I'm still on track with the Challenge and am doing pretty well. Thanks for hosting the challenge!

Congrats to you for sticking with the shred, that's awesome! Bring some yummy healthy snacks for yourself tomorrow, and everytime you have the urge to walk in that room...grab one of your healthy snacks!

I actually don't eat in the teacher lunchroom because of all the snacks that are available at time. There is a group of us that eat at a different location where there is nothing to tempt up.

Last year there was a big box of donuts in one of our workrooms. I took a marker and wrote "Don't do it" on the box lid. :) My parapro didn't know that I had done that and mentioned that it had helped her not take one. Sometimes I'll do what's necessary. I wouldn't have done that if it was someone's food. It was just leftovers from a student's birthday and they were trying to get rid of it.

You can be strong today!!! Bring a snack from home, chew gum, just DECIDE you aren't going to eat anything. Just think how hard you will have to work if you do partake in the caloric treats.

I hope you are making it through today! I hate when there are snacks around my office. I just stay away as well.

Chewing gum always helps me. Especially if it's a fruity flavor. Feels bad but isn't. :)
