I had the best run ever this morning. I woke up early and was running by 6:30 (early for a person who didn't have to get up early). I got up at 5:50 to go run but it was still dark so I went back to bed for a few minutes. The run was PERFECT! I ran at my own tempo. I didn't worry about time. I ran 3.1 and felt great with that accomplishment. My form and breathing felt good. My mind was focused on everything but the run. The beautiful running stars were all in alignment!
The rest of the day was full of boxing up things and taking them to our new house. AND REPEAT! We worked this evening on putting up fabric on the bathroom walls. We are redoing and buying my grandfather's house and living in it for 5 years and then building our dream house behind. Once our dream out is built we'll tear down my grandfather's house; the house is not in great condition. So anyway, fabric --- the walls had an old faux tile on it to about waist level and when I took it down the wall behind it was very uneven and just not at all smooth. So simply painting it was not going to be an option. So to cover the bad condition of the lower wall I bought a really cheap paisley-print fabric and have adhered it to the walls using spray adhesive and staples. We'll then put a molding (kind of like chair railing) across the top of the fabric to hide the staples and the top of the fabric. The wall and ceiling above the ceiling is cream and the fabric is green and blue with accents of cream in it. I am really proud of this room and the work we did. With my mom and Husband's help we were able to get the fabric on the wall in two evenings! It is going to be a very cute bathroom now. We basically took the ugliest room in the house and changed it into the room with the most personality.
Do you enjoy home-projects? I really don't like painting but love how much better things look once painted. Beside painting I really enjoy most other projects. I really like planting flowers!

I'm so glad you had such a great run! It's inspires me to go running.
I happen to love the IDEA of home improvement projects, but usually I start them and they turn out to be a mess. I've learned that in my case, I need to leave the fixing of things to professionals-ha!
I love those kind of runs!
Good luck with the house projects!
Runs like that are the best!
I love home projects... I've torn down tile and fixed the walls behind, replaced light fixtures, I've sewn all the drapes in my house, painted every wall, even painted and glazed the kitchen cabinets! I wish I had the money to do more, but it all goes to Lizzie! One day....
Glad you had a great run!
I do not really like home projects much. I don't mind painting, but I do not have enough patience for a lot of projects. I like the idea of them, but I don't like to actually do them. :P
Thank you! Thank you! It's such a great feeling of accomplishment. It's hard work, but it's SO worth it! My goal is to lose another 11 before October. I think that is totally do-able. Just have to keep my eyes on the prize!
What an awesome run- I love those! That happened once for me and I literally felt like I could run forever. There was no pain (and probably no feeling) in my legs so I just kept running and running... for over an hour and I only stopped because it was getting dark!
As for home projects- I love them! I tackle them all the time- from home art work, to painting projects :-)
My mom belongs on HGTV or something. She is so good at making rooms look beautiful on a budget! Apparantly I didn't inherit that gene. I always have great visions and I think I have a knack for style I just can't implement my visions.
Sounds like you have made some great progress!
Wow! That is a lot of work. I don't know how all you DIYers do it. Well done. And congrats on a great run. Gotta love those!
I don't really like doing home projects, but I like the end result! A paisley bathroom sounds fab :)
Wow, this sounds neat. I would have never thought to do that.
Glad you had a great run! May you have even more fabulous runs tomorrow and the next day and the next day!
Oh, and I don't really like home projects unless it has me out buying stuff to stock up on kitchen appliances! :D
